Volunteer Experience
Since 2006, I have volunteered my free time with the Palm Beach Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I participated in 5 century bike rides, 1 sprint triathlon, 1 Olympic distance triathlon and 1 half marathon with the society while helping to raise over $40,000. My event planning experience included organizing yard sales, gift basket raffle sales, Mom & Girl’s Club Tea Party, all-you-can-eat Italian dinner, Haunted House Halloween Party and more. I contacted both local and national vendors to solicit donations of merchandise and gift certificates, which were used for raffle sales and given out as door prizes.
